Don’t worry, I won’t bore you by posting my weigh in every week. It will only be this time and at the end of the 45 days probably. Or I’ll add a short notice in another blogpost. Anyway, the reason this time I did want to post my weigh in, is because my scale arrived! Since yesterday I am the proud owner of a body composition scale. I had to wait – very inpatient – until this morning, because I want to have my weigh in’s at a regular base. For me it will be after waking up.
After reading the instruction guide, I stepped on it. As excited as a kid.
Remember my first weigh in from the picture in this blogpost? I’ll help you remind 😉
Weight: 68,5 kg
Fat mass: 33,2%
Muscle mass: 40,7%
My results from today (note: the other scale and my new scale measure muscle and fat free mass in a different way, so I can’t compare those):
Weight: 66,9 kg (1,6 kg down!)
Fat mass: 32,7 % (0,5% down!)
Muscle mass: 42,7 kg
BMI: 25,5 (between 18,5 and 25 is considered healthy)
Metabolic Age: 36 (OOPS!)
Visceral fat: 3.5 (this is the fat inside of the belly, healthy between 1 and 12)
Bones: 2,3 kg
‘normal’ body composition
As you can see, the scale measures lots of interesting – and funny – information. It’s a shame that they both measure muscle mass in a different way, so that I can’t track if something happened since day 1. Butttt! I do see good progress on my weight and fat mass, so at least I know my meal plan is working!
Can’t wait until I can see the results on day 45 :-).
