Dear people,
As you may know, or as you may have noticed, my recipes often are vegetarian. It’s very rare that I add a meatly variant. This is not because I disapprove of other people eating meat – if I would host a dinner party, I would even offer meat-eaters to prepare them a dish with meat in it. My opinion is that I choose to be vegetarian, you might not.
The reason my recipes are mostly with a meat replacement, is simply because this is the way I cook my meals.
In every recipe where you find seitan, tofu, or whatever else I could add, you could replace those for beef, pork, chicken or fish – or other particular animals you could eat. I guess you could see for yourself which version would be more appropriate in that dish. Marinating tofu is almost similar to marinating meat, it both takes time if you want the marinade to be properly infused.
One tip: I don’t watch the cooking time of my tofu, I let it depend on the vegetables. Do use the cooking instructions of the meat you use, you don’t want to suffer from food poisoning!
